Estrogen receptor ligand

Selective estrogen receptor ERβ agonist displaying 68-fold greater selectivity over ERα (EC₅₀ = 2 and 155nM, respectively). It stimulates galanin expression in GnRH neurons and displays anxiolytic/antidepressant activity in various in vivo rodent models (administration to mice at 30mg/kg s.c.).
