The anti-PINK1 antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool for detecting human PINK1 in tissue and cell samples, optimized for immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications to study mitochondrial quality control and neurodegenerative pathways.
PINK1 is a mitochondrial kinase essential for maintaining mitochondrial quality control and promoting cell survival under stress conditions. It plays a critical role in protecting neurons from oxidative stress-induced cell death by maintaining mitochondrial integrity. Deficiency in PINK1 leads to mitochondrial dysfunction, elevated oxidative stress, and subsequent neuronal degeneration.

Immunohistochemical staining of human PINK1 in human brain with rabbit polyclonal antibody at 1:100 dilution, formalin-fixed paraffin embedded sections.
Immunofluorescence staining of PINK1-FP10086 in HeLa cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilized with 0.3% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human PINK1-FP10086 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:100) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor®488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm.
