The ZytoLight ® SPEC WWTR1 Dual Color Break Apart Probe is designed for the detection of translocations involving the chromosomal region 3q25.1 harboring the WWTR1 gene. The recurrent translocation t(1;3)(p36.3;q25.1) was identified in approximately 90% of epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) cases, but not in other vascular tumors.
