The ZytoLight ® SPEC RUNX1/RUNX1T1 Dual Color Dual Fusion Probe is designed to detect the specific translocation involving the chromosomal region 21q22.12 harboring the RUNX1 gene and the chromosomal region 8q21.3 harboring the RUNX1T1 gene. The balanced chromosomal translocation t(8;21) is found in about 90% of acute myeloid leukemia patients.
