ZytoFast® human Ig-kappa/Ig-lambda Probe (Biotin/Digoxigenin)

The ZytoFast Ig-kappa/Ig-lambda-CISH System is designed for the detection of Ig-kappa (k) and/or Ig-lambda (l) light chain mRNA in tissue sections or cell samples. Determination of kappa-to-lambda ratio is useful to distinguish between neoplastic and reactive lymphoid proliferations. Polyclonal expression of k or l light chains is considered to reflect a reactive hyperplasia in contrast to the monoclonal expression in malignant lymphoma, the most common hematologic malignancy encountered in the Western world.
