Calcineurin inhibitor

The tyrphostins are well known tyrosine kinase inhibitors. However, tyrphostin 8 has been shown to inhibit calcineurin (IC₅₀=21 µM) while displaying weak inhibition of EGFR tyrosine kinase (IC₅₀=560 µM).
