Lyophilized from 10mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.1, containing 150mM NaCl, 1mM EDTA, 5mM DTT, and maltodextrin.

≥90% (SDS-PAGE).

Reconstitute with water. For activation add 10mM Ca2+.

Produced in insect cells.

>750U/mg protein. One unit is defined as the increase of fluorescence intensify of 1 a.u./min. Activity is determined by measuring the rate of fluorescence enhancement after TG2-catalyzed monodansylcadaverine-incorporation into N, N-dimethylated casein (L. Lorand, et al.; Anal. Biochem. 44, 221 (1971)).
