Constitutive androstane receptor (CAR) activator

TCPOBOP is an activator of the mouse constitutive androstane receptor (CAR) and a potent inducer of cytochrome P450 monoxygenase activity. Has been shown to have a potent tumor-promoting activity and hepatocarcinogenic effects in mice but not in rats.
