GSK inhibitor

Potent and selective inhibitor of GSK-3β (IC₅₀=34nM). Stimulates glycogen synthesis in human liver cells and mimics other actions of insulin. Protects primary neurons from death induced by PI-3 kinase pathway inhibition suggesting therapeutic potential in neurodegenerative diseases and stroke. Reduces pulmonary inflammation and fibrosis in a mouse model.
