Prostanoid receptor ligand

Biosynthesis from dihomo-γ-linolenic acid. Stimulates renin release. Antitumor activity. Inhibits NFκB activation in several human cell lines. Induces the synthesis of heat shock proteins. Activates PPARs in human osteosarcoma cells at 10μM.
