COX inhibitor

Cyclooxygenase inhibitor. Selectively inhibits PGH synthase-2 (IC₅₀=1 µM) with no inhibition of PGH synthase-1 at concentrations up to 100 µM. Protects neuronal cultures from LPS-induced neurotoxicity.
