NeuroD1 polyclonal antibody

The anti-NEUROD1 antibody is designed to detect human NEUROD1 (Neuronal Differentiation 1, also known as BETA2).

Loss of NEUROD1 function has been linked to a range of disorders, including ataxia, cerebellar hypoplasia, sensorineural deafness, and severe retinal dystrophy in mice. In humans, mutations or dysregulation of NEUROD1 are associated with diseases such as Maturity-Onset Diabetes of the Young (MODY6) and noninsulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (type 2 diabetes). This dual role in both endocrine and neuronal systems makes NEUROD1 a critical marker for studying developmental biology, diabetes, and neurodegeneration.
