Biological Activity	mNGF 2.5S was bioassayed for neurotrophic activity using the rat pheochromocytoma cell PC12 cultures over a period of 7 – 14 days. The neurotrophic activity is in the range of 0.5-50ng/ml. The recommended concentration to be used in vitro for maintenance of sympathetic and sensory nerve cultures is 50ng/ml medium.
