iFSP1 inhibits ferroptosis suppressor protein, inducing ferroptosis. iFSP1 synergizes with GPX4 inhibitors to initiate ferroptosis in cancer cells. It potently induced ferroptosis, which promoted innate and adaptive anti-tumor immune responses, in human hepatocellular carcinoma cells which overexpress FSP1. A useful tool for establishing ferroptotic cells in Alzheimer’s disease models.
