Insulin receptor inhibitor

HNMPA is a membrane impermeable inhibitor of insulin receptor tyrosine kinase (IC50 = 100µM); in rat adipocytes (IC50 = 10µM). Inhibits serine and tyrosine autophosphorylation by the human insulin receptor.
