iNOS inhibitor

Potent and highly tolerable antitumor and antiangiogenic compound. Anxiolytic, anti-thrombotic and antibacterial. Shows central depressant effects in vivo. Inhibitor of nitric oxide (NO) and TNF-α production in LPS-activated macrophages by the suppression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS; NOS II) expression (IC₅₀=6.4µM). Isomeric with magnolol (Prod. No. ALX-350-352). Inhibits NF-κB activation. Potent scavenger of superoxide and peroxyl radicals.
