The FlexISH® RET/KIF5B TriCheck™ Probe is designed to detect inversions involving the chromosomal regions 10q11.21 and 10q11.22 harboring the RET and KIF5B genes, respectively. Moreover, using this probe it is possible to discriminate between KIF5B-RET inversions and RET translocations involving fusion partners other than KIF5B. RET rearrangement, including inversions and translocations, are found in NSCLC with an incidence of 1-2%.
