Liquid. In 20mM TRIS-HCl, pH 7.5, containing 0.35M sodium chloride, 1 mM EDTA, 2 mM DTT and 0.1% Triton X-100.

44 and 26 kDa subunits

Free from proteases and phosphatases.

Produced in E. coli. Consists of 44kDa α catalytic and 26kDa ß regulatory subunits as an α2ß2 tetramer.

One unit will transfer 1 pmol phosphate from ATP to peptide substrate per minute at 30°C.
