Calmodulin inhibitor

Binds reversibly to calmodulin, inhibiting calmodulin-mediated enzyme activation. It inhibits the Ca²⁺/calmodulin-induced activation of myosin light chain kinase in a concentration dependent manner (IC₅₀=1 µM). Cell permeable. Inhibits calmodulin N-methyltransferase (K_i=65 nM). Blocks Ca²⁺-calmodulin binding to NOS. Inhibitor of voltage-gated Ca²⁺channels
