AkrivisBio’s Calcium Assay provides a simple and direct method for measuring Ca2+ concentration in a variety of samples. In this assay, Ca2+ binds to alkaline O-Cresolphthalein Complexone to form a chromogen measured at OD 575 nm. The intensity of the color is directly proportional to the calcium concentration in the sample.
