
c-tetraGMP is a cyclic nucleotide in which four 5′-GMP units are interconnected via 3′-5′ phosphodiester bonds to form a cyclic structure. c-tetraGMP is structurally related to the novel bacterial second messenger c-tetraAMP (Cat. No. C 335) which is involved in the Type III CRISPR-Cas-associated detection and degradation of invasive genetic elements in many prokaryotes.
