ANT-dATP is an analogue of 2′-deoxyadenosine-5′-triphosphate, where the ribose 3′ hydroxy group has been modified with a small fluorescent anthraniloyl group (λexc 330 nm, λem ~428 nm). ANT-dATP is a competitive inhibitor of calmodulin (CaM)-activated adenylyl cyclases from Bordetella pertussis and Bacillus anthracis expressed in Escherichia coli and is considered to also inhibit other adenylyl cyclase isoforms.
