The AMPIXTRACT™ SARS-CoV-2 Extraction Kit (RUO) utilizes magnetic-particle technology for automated isolation and purification of nucleic acids from various biological specimens. This kit is intended to be used in combination AMPIPROBE^® SARS-CoV-2 Assay kit (RUO) and Controls (RUO). The extraction can be performed manually or on Enzo’s GENFLEX^® platform (please contact us for more information) or on any extraction platform open to accept third party reagents.

Magnetic-particle technology enables purification of high-quality nucleic acids that are free of proteins, nucleases, and other impurities. The purified nucleic acids are ready for direct use in downstream applications, such as amplification and qualitative detection of microorganisms in biological specimens, enzymatic reactions or for storage for later use.
