PDGF receptor inhibitor

Member of the tyrphostin family of tyrosine kinase inhibitors. Selective inhibitor of the PDGF receptor kinase (IC₅₀=20µM) vs. the EGF receptor kinase (IC₅₀=820µM). Inhibits PDGF-induced mitogenesis in human bone marrow fibroblasts.
