Inhibitor of PLA₂ and FAAH

AACOCF₃ is a trifluoromethylketone derivative of arachidonic acid. It is a selective inhibitor of human cytosolic PLA₂ and Ca²⁺-independent PLA₂ (iPLA₂, IC₅₀=15 µM). It is active in intact platelets and U937 cells (IC₅₀=8 µM). It also inhibits fatty acid amide hydrolase (100% at 7.5 µM).
