Inhibits thromboxane production in human platelets

Biosynthesis in rabbit peritoneal serous membranes, atherosclerotic plaques, healthy blood vessels, psoriatic skin, endothelial cells. Stimulates prostacyclin production by endothelial cells. Inhibits thromboxane production in human platelets. Inhibits platelet and tumor cell adhesion to endothelium. Antagonizes 12-HETE-induced tumor cell adhesion to endothelium. Stimulates DNA synthesis in BALB/c 3T3 fibroblasts.
