PKC inhibitor

Inhibits protein kinase C activation by diacylglycerols. Stimulates HL-60 cell differentiation. Biosynthetic precursor of PAF via remodeling and retroconversion/de novo routes. Induces delayed aggregation of rabbit platelets. Mitogenic for smooth muscle cells.
