Would COX activity assay kit, ADI-907-003 work with human plasma and mouse cell lysate samples?

COX activity assay kit, ADI-907-003 https://www.enzolifesciences.com/fileadmin/files/manual/ADI-907-003_insert.pdf is designed for the quantitative determination of COX activity in biological samples.  

However, we have not specifically validated this kit with human plasma and mouse cell lysates. The end user is required to optimize sample volume, dilution and determine compatibility as well as matrix effects of the assay to measure cyclooxygenase activity in their specific samples.  This assay works by detecting the light generated by reaction of COX enzymes with substrate, and the reaction has rapid kinetics that takes place almost immediately in less than 5 seconds. Therefore, we recommend a plate reader capable of reading luminescent signal equipped preferably with injection ports with dual injectors.
