Under laboratory conditions, only minimal dust exposure is expected, and can be easily controlled and compensated for during the auto-calibration performed during initialization. Beyond that, the Absorbance 96 plate reader has an internal dust and dirt detection, which will prompt the user to open and clean the device, if excessive spillage, dust or dirt threaten to compromise measurements. Cleaning procedures are described in the product’s manual.
