HIGHDEF® IHC fluoromount (ADI-950-260) was specifically designed as an antifade reagent to cover tissues stained with fluorescent dyes. HIGHDEF® IHC mount (ADI-950-261), on the other hand, was designed for chromogenic use and is ideal for long-term storage of processed tissue. Both of these media contain a formulation optimized for AEC, DAB, Fast Red, BCIP/NBT, and BCIP/INT. Both of these media are compatible with chromogenic (HRP and AP systems) and fluorescent (FITC, PE, Texas Red, etc.) dyes. They basically offer a better compromise for customers interested in doing either chromogenic or fluorescent immunohistochemistry.
