The a-Gal epitope monoclonal antibody (ALX-801-090-1) is offered as partially purified ammonium sulfate precipitate tissue culture supernatant. The volume provided is 4ml per vial. Because this is an unpurified antibody preparation, the actual IgM concentration could vary slightly from lot to lot and it is not determined. However, we compare specific antibody content with every lot by ELISA to ensure that every lot gives similar titers. To give an estimate of the actual antibody content, the supernatant is quite concentrated protein-wise (>10 mg/ml) but less than 5% is the antibody.
