The Antifade mounting medium hardeset can be used as a mouning medium fo fixed cells and tissues, stained with fluorescent stains. This medium inhibits photobleaching of fluorescent dyes and proteins. After mounting, specimens can be visualized immediately or, if long term storage is desired, the reagent can be allowed to harden overnight.
