What information can you share about the LEADING LIGHT® Wnt reporter cell line?

The LEADING LIGHT® Wnt reporter cell line is a genetically engineered 3T3 mouse fibroblast cell line that contains a luciferase reporter gene. In this Wnt pathway-focused transcription factor-responsive system, the luciferase reporter gene is under the control of a basal promoter element (TATA box) joined to tandem repeats of a proprietary Wnt-responsive element (TCF/LEF). The luciferase activity can be regulated in a dose-dependent manner by addition of exogenous Wnt protein, Wnt agonist, or Wnt antagonist to the cell culture medium. No infectious agents were used in the production of this cell line. It is a stably transfected cell line of bio- and gene- safety level 1.
