A bridging study is required if this is a part of defined or specified SOP for a facility or a lab. HCP antibodies are polyclonal and multiple batches are typically produced during development. We recommend assessing the performance of the HCP reference standard or internally developed standards to assess performance of a new lot. Historically, we have seen very consistent lot-to-lot performance of our HCP products.
