No, installation and setup can be easily performed by the end user. The Absorbance 96 plate reader and app were optimized for plug-and-play functionality. Installation simply requires unboxing of the device, installing the provided software, and connecting the reader. The device is ready to go within a few minutes. Some systems where plug-and-play functionality is limited for security reasons might require manual installation of the drivers. Additionally, admin rights are required for installation.
