Several MMPs cleave both BML-P277-9090 substrate (OMNIMMP™ RED fluorogenic substrate peptide), BML-P278-9090 substrate (MPP-3 Fluorogenic Substrate peptide) and colorimetric substrate (BML-P125). MMPs have a broad specificity and can cleave the mentioned substrates given their highly conserved sequence. We offer these substrates with specific MMPs for screening modulators of MMP activity for drug discovery as a potential therapeutic target. Included in MMP drug discovery kit are active MMP enzyme, assay buffer, a prototypic control inhibitor. Therefore, the substrates can be exchanged from one of the MMP Drug Discovery kits.
