How long may plasma samples be stored (with EDTA and aprotinin or with EDTA-only)? Has this been tested? Is there some degradation of Endothelin-1 while samples are stored?

Plasma samples collected as directed with EDTA and Aprotinin will be stable for at least 1 month at -80°C without freeze/thaw cycles. Specific stability testing of samples collected with EDTA only have not been done so the shelf life under those circumstances cannot be reported.
