During the develomment of 17ß-Estradiol ELISA kit (ADI-900-008), the cross reactivities for a number of related steroid compounds was determined by dissolving the cross reactant (purity checked by N.M.R. and other analytical methods) in Assay Buffer 3 at concentrations from 10,000,000 to 10 pg/mL. These samples were then measured in the 17ß- Estradiol assay, and the measured 17ß-Estradiol concentration at 50% B/Bo was calculated. The % cross reactivity was calculated by comparison with the actual concentration of cross reactant in the sample and expressed as a percentage
