PROTEOSTAT® dye is light sensitive. Avoid direct exposure of the reagent to intense light. In a microscopy experiment with PROTEOSTAT® Aggresome detection kit (ENZ-51035), it is best to focus with the Hoechst filter first, then quickly switch optimal excitation to 550 nm, with emission at about 610 nm and take the picture quickly, to reduce the risk of photobleaching.
