In general with any ELISA, including the Protein A ELISA kit (ADI-900-057), residual wash buffer can interfere with the assay and affect results variability. We therefore advise to tap the plate after washing the plate in order to ensure that there is no residual wash buffer left in the wells. This can be done by gently tapping the washed plate couple of times onto a lint free paper towel. It is important to tap for a couple seconds as to avoid drying of the bound material. 2-3 taps would be sufficient to drain any residual wash buffer remaining in the wells.
