Following staining with Mito-ID® Red detection kit, ENZ-51007, are the cells viable and is it possible to propagate cells?

The MITO-ID® Membrane potential dye (ENZ-51007) is not toxic to the cells at the concentrations and staining time recommended. Experiments demonstrated 80% viability in the cells treated with MITO-ID® Red for 18 hours.  Therefore short time staining would not affect cell viability.
