Yes. One possibility to amplify the fluorescent signal would be with antibodies against the fluorophore. For example, the Green 496 dUTP could be detected with a Fluorescein-antibody and a secondary antibody, ideally conjugated to fluorescein or similar green fluorophores to amplify the signal. However, continuously labeled probes, e.g. by nick translation, generally do not require amplification, if target sequence and/or probes are long enough. If amplification with antibodies or biotin (strept-)avidin systems is intended from the beginning, we would recommend to use digoxigenin- or biotin-conjugated dUTPs.
