The labeled dUTPs can be used for a variety of applications besides in situ hybridization. They can be used as substrates for a variety of labeling reactions including nick translation, random prime labeling, cDNA labeling, and 3'-end labeling. The labeled dUTPs can be used as substrates for E.coli DNA polymerase (holoenzyme and Klenow fragment), T4 and Taq DNA polymerases, reverse transcriptase (from AMV and M-MuLV), terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT) and other enzymes that utilize deoxynucleotides. TdT is used in the TUNEL assay to end-label apoptotic DNA fragments and Enzo's labeled dUTPs are a suitable substrate for that reaction.
Additionally, we offer labeled dATP, labeled dideoxynucleotides, and labeled ribonucleotides for RNA applications.
