As with any other kit, components of the CGH labeling kit for oligo arrays cannot be replaced by any other components without affecting the kit’s performance. We even recommend to not exchange components between different protuction lots to avoid compromised perdormance of the kits. Furthermore, the proprietary formulation of the nucleotide mixes provided with the kit contains components that are necessary for the reaction and, therefore, direct substitution of these nucleotide mixes with a different cyanine-labeled dye is not feasible.
