AMPIGENE® Isothermal Amplification – Bst Polymerases and Mixes

AMPIGENE® Bst Polymerase (recombinant fragment of G.stearothermophilus DNA polymerase) is ideal for nucleic acid amplification methods taking place at a single incubation temperature — such as whole genome, multiple displacement, and isothermal amplifications, including loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP).

Isothermal amplification of SARS-CoV-2 N gene target using AMPIGENE® Bst 1-Step Mix  in comparison to a competitor’s product.
The primer mix primers target a region of the viral N gene and were used at the following concentration: 1.6 μM FIP, 1.6 μM BIP, 0.2 μM F3, 0.2 μM B3, 0.8 μM Loop F, 0.8 μM Loop B. Bst 1-Step Mix displayed earlier times to result and higher sensitivity compared to the competitor’s product. Amplification of 13 copies of SARS-CoV-2 genome was obtained within 30 min.
