Kinetics of YVAD-pNA cleavage by Caspase-1
30 U/well; 25°C. Rates were obtained from the slopes of the initial, linear portion of plots of A405 vs. time. Curve and kinetic parameters derive from a non-linear least squares fit to the Michaelis-Menten equation (Marquadt algorithm).

Ready-to-Use Caspase Inhibitors

Caspase inhibitors bind to the active site of caspases either in a reversible or irreversible manner. Inhibitors are designed to include a peptide recognition sequence attached to a functional group: an aldehyde (CHO), a chloromethylyketone (CMK), or fluoromethylketone (FMK).

Antibody-Based Detection of Cleaved Caspases
